"Growing up in a house along the Niagara River just a few miles above The Falls, gave me an appreciation for nature."

I was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. My Father is an estate lawyer, and my mother whom he met at college was studying to become an architect/interior designer. Growing up in a house along the Niagara River just a few miles above The Falls gave me an appreciation for nature. The many trips my family took throughout the U.S. and Europe were all enriching experiences. When it came time for college, I enrolled in SUNY College of Environmental Science and Foresrty, to study Landscape Architecture. There I met and later married Barry.

After college I pursued a career working in Jersey City in the redevelopment office. My job was to be liaison between the redevelopment office and the board of adjustment. I was there during the hey-day of starting the transformation and rebirth of the city.

I left there to become a full time mother, raising our two children, and helping out my husband’s landscape business in whatever way I could. When the children got older. Barry & I decided to open The Garden Path, a retail garden accessory store in downtown Millburn. I found the building while taking one of my daily walks. The building, a 200 year old home in the center of town, worked out perfectly for our needs. We are able to display indoor items, in the store, while taking advantage of the landscaped outdoors for display of larger outdoor items.

In recent years, I have begun to visit clients at their home to help them select the perfect furniture & finishing touches for their gardens.
